The Menai Bay Conservation Area (MBCA) is located in the south west of Zanzibar and a cruise can include the Menai Bay Conservation Area, Pange, Nyange, Chumbe, Sume, Pungume, Kwale, Miwi & NiaMembe Islands.

The Bay has many picturesque uninhabited islands and sandbanks the like of which are not found in any other part of Zanzibar.

This makes the Bay ideal to explore by yacht.

There are great snorkelling sites and plenty of marine life as the Bay is well known for pods of dolphins and seasonally, hump back whales.

This trip is all about spending the day on a yacht enjoying great food, music, cold drinks and water sports away from the crowds as our catamarans can go anywhere to find those perfect empty beaches.

The middle islands are just a 30 min sail from Stone Town and  the cruise can include Bawe Island & Prison (Changuu) Island, Chapwani, Panje & Nyange Islands

Depending on the weather and wind conditions the day charter excursion may only include the middle islands, and not Menai Bay.

These middle islands and sandbanks offers some great beaches, which are an ideal place for a picnic lunch on the beach or on the yacht and are  perfect spots for swimming, relaxing or snorkeling and exploring the beautiful coral reefs surrounding the islands.

We can also visit the Prison Island  endangered Aldabra giant tortoises sanctuary on Prison island.
