Located off Zanzibar's northeast coast, the atoll provides an idyllic setting for a full-day catamaran cruise from Nungwi.
Spend the day sailing, swimming and snorkelling around Mnemba's clear, shallow waters before relaxing aboard your private yacht with lunch, cold drinks and beautiful views across the Indian Ocean.
Mnemba Island itself is privately owned and cannot be visited by day-charter guests. The experience instead centres around the spectacular waters, coral reefs and marine environment surrounding the island.

MNEMBA ISLAND CORAL ATOLL
Mnemba Island and its surrounding coral atoll form part of a protected marine conservation area renowned for clear, shallow waters and abundant marine life.
Covering almost 10 sq km, the atoll is an idyllic place to spend a day on the ocean and one of Zanzibar's best-known snorkelling destinations.
The warm, crystal-clear waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling, with colourful coral, tropical reef fish and sea turtles found around the protected reef. Dolphins are also regularly encountered in the waters around Mnemba, although sightings are wild and can never be guaranteed.
Between swims, relax aboard your private catamaran and enjoy the scenery, music, freshly prepared food and cold drinks while exploring this beautiful part of the Zanzibar Archipelago.

At low tide, a beautiful tropical sandbank can emerge from the turquoise waters near Mnemba, creating an opportunity to step ashore and enjoy an extraordinary island-style beach experience.
When tide and sea conditions allow, guests can walk onto the white sand, relax on the beach, sunbathe and swim in the warm, shallow water surrounding the sandbank.
The sandbank is a completely natural tidal feature and cannot be guaranteed on every Mnemba Island charter. Its appearance and accessibility depend on the tide and conditions on the day.
