You will meet the crew on the beach and transfer to the boat by dinghy.
Because the boats anchor offshore, you may need to walk through approximately knee-deep water to board the dinghy, so suitable casual footwear is recommended.
Shoes are generally not required once aboard.

Meet at Nungwi Beach
Meet the crew on Nungwi’s main beach before transferring by dinghy to your fishing boat. The boats anchor offshore, so guests should be prepared to walk a short distance through shallow water when boarding.
Head Offshore
Once aboard, the skipper heads toward the most promising fishing grounds based on weather, sea conditions, season and recent fishing activity.
Start Fishing
Rods are rigged and the fishing begins.
Depending on the target species and conditions, the crew may use trolling, spinning, popping, jigging or other sport-fishing techniques.
Follow the Fish
Fishing locations are never completely fixed.
The crew can move between Leven Bank, the Zanzibar Channel, Mnemba waters and deeper offshore grounds in search of better fishing activity.
Return to Nungwi
After your chosen charter duration, return across the Indian Ocean to Nungwi and transfer back to the beach by dinghy.

On longer full-day charters, the experience can sometimes be adapted for groups where not everyone wants to fish continuously.
Depending on conditions and the day’s fishing plan, there may be opportunities to enjoy the scenery, look for dolphins or marine life, or take a swimming and snorkelling break around the Mnemba area before continuing the fishing.
