The Menai Bay Conservation Area (MBCA) is located in the south west of Zanzibar and since 1996 this has been the home of Zanzibar’s best and most famous boat excursion – The Safari Blue.

The Bay has many picturesque uninhabited islands and sandbanks the like of which are not found in any other part of Zanzibar. This makes the Bay ideal to explore by yacht. There are great snorkelling sites and plenty of marine life as the Bay is well known for pods of dolphins and seasonally, hump back whales.
